Notes on Calamus (Palmae) in China: C. oxycarpus, C. albidus, and C. macrorhynchus

Abstract

Confusion over three taxa ofCalamus in China—C. oxycarpus, C. oxycarpus var.angustifolius, andC. macrorhynchus—is resolved.Calamus oxycarpus var.angustifolius is recognized at the species level, asC. albidus. A key, complete descriptions, and distribution maps are given for the three species.
